Borgo Scopeto according to the staff - Pietro

Today our column "Borgo Scopeto according to the staff" enters the kitchen, with Pietro.
Pietro comes from Manciano (Grosseto) and has been our Executive Chef since 2020, but has been part of our team since 2013.

What is your favorite place of the Borgo?

The Roccolo, is truly unique.

The most beautiful view or landscape in your opinion?

The door under the wisteria pergola, a beautiful setting over the Val d'Orcia and the Amiata.

What activities would you suggest that the hotel offers (inside and out)?

As a great bike enthusiast, I can only suggest a bike tour, along the white roads of the Eroica.

Surroundings to visit?

I highly recommend visiting the whole Chianti area, but also taking the time to go to Valdorcia.

Which wine do you prefer from our cellars?

I like Borgonero because it is a very round wine.

What is your favourite dish?

I can't say I have a favorite dish, simply because I can't do the things I don't like. I like them all equally and I hope our guests like them too.
